We will refer you to Investors.com for a good analysis of yesterday’s market action. Their stock market status is “market in correction”. We theorize that argo (high frequency trading) machines are making everyone seem like dufuses by bidding down past the pivot points that technicians are seeing. Because the stock market indexes broke recent support, we will be trimming our longs in a systematic way. A break of the November 2009 lows is really a bad sign, not only for the stock market, but for the economy in general.
Still, our systems have not given us short ETFs to go long. Something is amiss in the market. We scanned the markets and we did not see any stocks that piqued our interest in the long side.
